Project Manager Position Available:

 

Description

 

The Project Manager is a vital member of the Firefly Partners professional team, responsible for conceiving and helping implement online strategies for multiple accounts, managing multiple online projects including creating and maintaining a detailed project plan and internal/external resource management, providing support on a variety of platforms and programs, analyzing and reporting back data about online programs, and providing the highest level of customer service to our clients.

 

The position reports to the company Vice President and requires moderate travel.  Successful candidates will be expected to quickly get up to speed on current and upcoming projects, possess the ability to think on their feet and have the skills needed to work both independently and as a core part of a virtual team. Primary job responsibilities include:

 

Develop online strategies for clients with emphasis on email marketing, list growth and online fundraising and advocacy, including targeting, timing, testing and integration of channels

Develop message strategy and appeal themes, and provide creative direction and copy for email campaigns and/or online appeals

Help develop clients' understanding and skills in the use of online platforms and programs, including training and coaching in trends, techniques and integration of channels

Effectively use internal and external Firefly Partners resources to implement recommendations as required by clients, including other professional team members, company support staff, professional associates and vendors

Starting with business requirements from Firefly Management and clients, determine project priorities and manage tasks accordingly. Ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and are clearly understood by the client and Firefly production team; execute testing on development efforts, contribute to group learning and best practice development.

The Project Manager will possess demonstrated strong analytical, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, which include solid experience in writing functional specifications for project deliverables as well as daily management of resources and tasks. The Project Manager can expect to use strong organization and project/task management skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, along with clear and careful oral and written communication skills, including:

 

The ability for prioritizing multiple responsibilities and organizing workload and ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are expected.

Technical Understanding:

 

Possesses general understanding in the areas of: CRM and CMS, application programming, database and system design; Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures, has some knowledge of HTML/CSS to help troubleshoot low-level technical problems with client applications desirable.

Ability to communicate with staff and constituencies from cross-functional teams, organizations, and provide strategic guidance in a collaborative, consultative, and positive manner.

Psychiatrist Position Available:

Harlem Village Academies Seeks Math Tutors:


Harlem Village Academies – a high performing network of charter schools in
Harlem – seeks experienced math tutors for our after-school math tutoring program.  Math tutors will work with approximately two students for one hour, Monday – Thursday from 4:45 – 5:45.
