Job Description
Company specializing in operational certification for hedge fund companies is seeking a director for it's NYC office. Company currently has offices in New York, London and Bermuda.

Responsibilities:
1. Support the Company's marketing efforts in New York
2. Managerial support for the New York office, including some HR, legal, tax and infrastructure responsibilities.
3. Supervise due diligence senior analysts / analysts in the performance of hedge fund operational due diligence reviews, including
• Planning and co-ordination of due diligence visits;
• On site due diligence meetings with hedge fund managers and administrators;
• Review of due diligence reports prepared by due diligence analysts.;
• Preparation of performance appraisals of due diligence analysts;
• Staff development.
4. Completion of operational due diligence reviews of hedge fund managers and offshore administrators (focus on more complex funds and strategies).
5. Presentation at hedge fund conferences and preparation of position papers and similar information for internal and external distribution summarizing hedge fund industry best practice internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. CPA required
2. CFA a major plus
3. Manager level experience
4. Experience doing Operational Due Diligence reviews on at least 50 funds.
5. Ability to draw on a network of contacts amongst hedge fund managers and investors to assist in the Company's marketing and business development efforts.
